Yes! I just received my tickets for 2 upcoming shows in town. Now, I just can't wait to get there and have some pics taken.

February 10th, 2008: Silverstein with Protest the Hero, illScarlett and The Devil Wears Prada

March 18th, 2008: Against Me! with guests

I really like Silverstein (even if some of you tell me it's emo!) and Against Me! are ranked #21 of the best bands live so I guess it'll be pretty wicked sick!

I finnally updated my website! I added new pictures, refreshed my bio (in English), put back the English version I had scrapped the last time, added a video section to my portfolio, and... what I'm most satisfied of: Cleaned up some code to make the pages load much more quicker and with the same FX and appearance.

So here it is. I'm finaly updating my journal with some real news.

FILM PROJECT

So, first things first: I'm now part of the Film community on dA and I'm very pleased with it. I had already made some videos a while ago, but nothing serious with a sweet montage and all, but I'm currently working on a ski and snowboard movie project and everything is getting together nice so far. I got my invite for the community today and I uploaded my first work sample.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

Haha! Here's my resolution for year 2008. It's pretty simple and it's called NO resolution. Life's so short, why would I miss anything voluntarily? The only thing I wanna have this year is fun. And to quote a song by The Lawrence Arms:

This year I'll try not to think too much.
This year I'll try to stand up for myself.
This year I'll live like I've never lived before, this is my year for sure.

If you didn't read my last journal, you might not be aware that my portfolio has moved to www.hroyer.com.

I'm working on it on a daily basis. Not always putting on new pictures at the time, but I'm workin' on making it better. Fixed some bugs and added some more options. I'll be working on a new series soon and send it there. By the way, sorry for the lack of new works, haven't had much time to send them here with school and setting up the new porfolio.

I'll be running a Prints giveaway on my portfolio soon and as I love y'all people on dA, you're the firsts to be able to enter in the Prints Giveaway. I want to know your opinion on my new portfolio. As simple as that.
